Setting up the integration:
Login to CurrentClient here.
Go to your settings to begin creating a new connector here.
Click the ‘Setup Connector’ button
Select the Redtail connector type.
Enter your Redtail login credentials and click the request API key to exchange credentials for an api key which CurrentClient will use:
Choose the contact status types you want to bring over to CurrentClient. You can select more than one type:
Name the connector and click ‘Create connector’:
After creating, go to the CRM sync option found here.
Choose the connector you just created and check the enable button.
-- If a contact is created in CurrentClient, you can enable it to create that contact in Redtail
-- If a contact is edited in CurrentClient, you can enable it to edit that contact in Redtail
-- If a contact conversation occurs, you can enable it to create a note under that contact with a daily rollup of the conversation that occurred
In the contact view, you will see your Redtail contacts marked with the Redtail logo:
In the inbox view, you will be able to quickly open the contact in Redtail:
1. CurrentClient will read the contacts in Redtail that match the contact status type you defined when setting up the integration (e.g. Active Clients, Prospects)
a. CurrentClient will read the following data points on a contact
i. First Name
ii. Last Name
iii. Phone Number (will use Mobile phone if available, if not found will use the ‘primary’ phone)
iv. Email Address (will use email marked as ‘primary’ if available)
v. Address (will use email marked as ‘primary’ if available)
vi. Keywords (will show up as a tag in CurrentClient)
vii. Contact Status (will show up as a tag in CurrentClient)
viii. Contact Category (will show up as a tag in CurrentClient)
2. Optionally, CurrentClient will create new contacts in Redtail if a contact gets created in CurrentClient.
3. Optionally, CurrentClient will edit contacts in Redtail if a contact gets edited in CurrentClient.
4. Optionally, CurrentClient will post a daily summary of any conversations that occurred with a contact as a note under the contact record.
