Can I Import Contacts from Apple Devices into the CRM?

Our Welcome Team is happy to assist you with importing your Contact/Client Information from your Apple Device into Redtail!

The first step in this process is to export your data to a Numbers file, please use the following directions to create your export:

1) Open the Applications menu

5) Give your file a descriptive name, then select the location where you would like to save it.

The next step is to convert your file into .csv format.  You can use the converter tool, found here:  http://labs.brotherli.ch/vcfconvert/  Or any other tool that you may have available.  You will want to make sure that you choose “CSV” and “Comma” for the Formatting:

The final step is getting your data into the proper format. Once the file has been converted, you may notice that it does not have any headers.  This is not a problem though, because we have a Formatted Import Spreadsheet for you to use.  You can either copy your columns of data into our Format, or you can copy our headers into your newly converted CSV spreadsheet – either way works for us!

For more information regarding the Formatted Import Spreadsheet, and to find a downloadable copy to use, please click here:  Import Contacts from Excel

>>> When your spreadsheet is ready, please attach it in an email to import@redtailtechnology.com. In the body of the email, please be sure to include your Redtail Username and the first two Contact Names listed on the spreadsheet - we need this information for verification purposes, and will not be able to start your import without it.
