Webmail 9.0: Accessing Redtail Webmail

Redtail's Email Hosting Service provides all subscribers with access to our webmail client. This allows you to access your email from anywhere as long as you have a computer and an internet connection. There are two ways to access your webmail client:  Direct Access and Seamless Sign-on (SSO) from within Redtail CRM.  We'll look at each of these below.

Direct Access

The first option that we will explore is the Direct Access option. This option is quite simple. All you do is enter the following URL into your internet browser's address bar:

https://webmail.redtailtechnology.com

Next, you will enter your full email address in the Username field and your email password in the Password field. (Note: Redtail email passwords are static, which means that you are not required to change them periodically and that they are independent of the CRM password).

CRM Seamless Sign On (SSO)

Now that we have explored the Direct Access option, let's move to the CRM Seamless Sign On (SSO) option. With this option, you have the ability to access your webmail client from within your Redtail CRM. To enable this, go to the Manage Your Integrations page and locate your Redtail Webmail box:

Make sure the toggle is switched to "ON" and then select Settings from the Actions menu:

You'll then see a prompt to enter your Webmail Username and Password:

Enter those and click "save".

Once you've entered those credentials and saved them, you can then hover over Integrations to expand the Integrations Menu and then select Redtail Webmail:

This will seamlessly sign you in to the webmail client in a new window. If the window does not pop-up, be sure to check your Pop-up Blocker settings in your browser.

Additional Information

If you are really in a pinch and all you have is a smartphone, you can access a mobile version of the webmail client at the following address: https://webmail.redtailtechnology.com/zimbra/m.
