You'll need to set up a Phone Number to use with your Speak account - this number will be the one your clients see when they are texting with your office. This setup process can be handled on your very first login to Redtail Speak with the Onboarding Wizard, if you are an admin user of the account. You can see details on that here.
If you (or another admin user) didn't set up your Speak account's phone number with the Onboarding Wizard, you can access the setup process from your Speak Settings. You can access your Speak settings from the menu in the upper right hand corner of your Speak account:
After clicking "Settings", you'll see the below:
From here, click the "Set up phone number" button. At that point, you will see the below:
Enter the Area Code you'd like to use and then tap Enter. You'll see a screen similar to the below, but reflecting your chosen Area Code:
These are numbers that are available for you to use as the outgoing phone number your text recipients will see, based upon the Area Code you provided. Just select the one you want associated with your account and click the "Confirm" button to continue setting it up. Or, click "Refresh" if you want to see additional numbers from which to choose. When you find one you like, just click the phone number, and you'll see it highlighted with a checkmark at the end of its row:
After you've clicked "Confirm", you'll see the below:
Pay special attention here, as your Speak phone number is permanent, i.e., you cannot change it later. If you're happy with the number, click the "Confirm" button. You'll then see the below message (reflecting the number you've chosen):
