Schwab OpenView Gateway users now have the ability to initiate the Digital Account Opening process from their Redtail CRM account.
To enable this integration, go to Manage your Integrations in Redtail and click Settings under the Actions menu in the Schwab OpenView Gateway widget:
You'll be prompted to agree to enrollment terms and conditions:
After checking off the "Agree to Terms and Conditions" box, you'll see a "Next" button. After clicking that, you will then be prompted for your Schwab OpenView Gateway credentials and will need to agree to a user agreement in a separate window from Redtail CRM. You will want to disable pop-up blockers if you are not seeing this window:
Once completed you'll see a notice that your enrollment was successful:
After successfully enabling the integration, if you access the Schwab OpenView Gateway integration while in a contact record in Redtail, you'll see the below:
Clicking "Open an Account" here will launch the Digital Account Open screen within Schwab OpenView Gateway:
After selecting the Master Account and the account type (as you can see in the image above) on the Digital Account Open screen in Schwab, you can go to your "Select Clients" tab or click the "Next" button at the bottom of the screen to select the contact for whom you want to open the account. You will need to drag the desired contact from the left hand menu to the "Drag & drop your Primary here" box on the right. Contacts that are sent using the "Open an Account" link from Redtail will be at the top of the list:

Citizenship and Employment info DOES NOT come over but is required for Schwab’s Digital Account Opening. In most cases you will need to fill out those remaining fields by clicking edit. In those cases, you'll see a message letting you know:
After clicking "Edit", you can then enter that missing data:
After adding all required data, you can then proceed with the Digital Account Opening process.
One more item to note on your Schwab OpenView Gateway integrations menu accessible from within Redtail CRM is the Alerts section:
If you click "View Alerts" to expand it (as in the example above), up to 250 alerts from the last 30 days will display.
