Setting up the integration:
You'll need to enable the BackNine integration within your database. Instructions for enabling integrations can be found here. Then, from the Manage Integrations page, click Settings from BackNine's Actions menu:
You'll then see the below:
Enter your National Producer Number (NPN) here and click "save". BackNine uses your NPN to obtain your contact information and insurance licenses. You’ll only be able to quote in the states you are licensed. Your NPN is also how BackNine knows you’re the agent for the quote/eApp.
After setting up the integration, when within a contact record in Redtail launch BackNine Quote & Apply from your Integrations menu. You can then go through the steps of answering a few questions in order to get insurance quotes and apply online.
In addition to the questions you go through during the quote process, the contact's First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Primary Address (State Only), and Gender are also pre-populated in BackNine from Redtail CRM.
