Account User Defined Fields Report

Redtail CRM offers you a large number of Standard Reports to assist you with quickly accessing information that is relevant to your day-to-day operations.  One such report is the Account User Defined Fields Report.

To access the Account User Defined Fields Report, click the Reports option from your Left Menu Bar to see all of the available Standard Reports within your database:

On the resulting page, your Account User Defined Fields Report is accessible within the UDF Reports section:

After clicking Account User Defined Fields, your report will open up. Here's a look at a sample portion of an Account User Defined Fields Report:

Note that the columns will allow you to sort the report data based upon that column's data by clicking the column name.

The Account User Defined Fields Report displays all accounts to which you have assigned a UDF by default. To look for specific UDFs and / or specific accounts you can use the Filters button.

Above your report, you'll see several Options:

The "filter" button presents you with a modal that will allow you to filter by Contacts, a specific Account Number, or a specific UDF:

Note as well the "Saved Filters" tab here. If you find that you consistently apply the same filters to one of Redtail’s Standard Reports to meet the unique needs of your office, you now have the ability to save those filter options for quicker access to the report data you’re looking for! To search for accounts with a specific UDF attached to them, just click inside the User Defined Field box and select your desired UDF, and then select an Operand and Value where applicable. In the example below, I've set up my Filter to search for all accounts where RMD has been taken:

Just click Apply Filter when done to see that filter applied to your actual report.

Clicking export will download the data and allow you to open it up in Microsoft Excel.

The pdf button downloads a report, suitable for printing.

Search sends the currently displayed contact names in your report to your Advanced Search page, where you can take further actions with those contacts.

If you click an Account Number from this report, you'll be carried to that Account's Details page, where you can access and edit its User Defined Fields, if need be.
