Can I add new Investment Objectives to my database?

Investment Objective is one of the fields you can track about your individual contacts (and about their individual accounts) within Redtail.  This field can be completed from the Know Your Client area within a contact record in the Strategic Allocation Model section or from an Account's Details page in the Strategic Allocation Model section..

To add new Investment Objectives to your database, first go to Manage Your Account

 Then, select Manage Database Lists

The body of the Manage Database Lists page is controlled by which List you have selected in the Manage Lists column on the right:

After you've clicked Investment Objectives, your page will display this list.  Below is an example Investment Objectives list:

You can add new Investment Objectives by clicking the add button in the top right corner.  You'll then see the below modal:

Just type in the name for your new Investment Objective and click Add Investment Objective.

Investment Objectives have both Edit and Delete options available from their Actions menu, meaning you can edit their name or delete them entirely.

After adding your Investment Objective, it will then be available to apply to your contact records or to individual accounts.
