Contact Overview Menu: Know Your Client

When you access a contact record in Redtail, you'll notice new menu items in your Left Menu Bar underneath Contacts (these menu items only appear when within a contact record):

Here we'll take a look at Know Your Client. If you click that option from this menu, you'll see the Know Your Client area for the Contact:

Note that there are several tabs of Know Your Client, highlighted in yellow above. You can edit any of the sections by clicking their Edit or Add button and move to the different tabs by clicking their links at the left.

Sections of "Know Your Client"

I won't go into too much detail about these individually here, as you can get more detailed information from the link at the end of each general description.

o Client Review
• In this section, you can indicate your client’s review date and the frequency of reviews for the client. Their Next Review Date will automatically populate, dependent upon what you enter into the other two fields.
NOTE: Client Review Reminders appear on your Today page under the Reminders tab.

o Important Information
In this section, under the Important Info tab, you can keep track of important information you’d like to associate with your Client. This information is easily accessible from anywhere within the client's record by clicking the exclamation mark icon on the right side of the contact's Basic Information widget. If the icon is red, that means Important Info has been entered for them.
