Setting up the integration:
Please reach out to your Fidelity Institutional® relationship manager to initiate setup of this integration. Once Fidelity has set this up on their end, you'll then need to authorize the setup from within Redtail CRM. To do so, go to Manage Your Integrations:
From your Manage Integrations page, click the actions icon for Fidelity Wealthscape® Clearing and then select Settings:
You'll then be prompted to "Authorize Access to Wealthscape Clearing":
Click that button, at which point you will be redirected to Wealthscape®, where you'll be prompted to enter your Wealthscape credentials. Then, click "Log In" to authorize the integration.
Our integration with Fidelity Institutional® Clearing offers Single Sign-On (SSO) from Redtail and access to Wealthscape Alerts from within Redtail, while also allowing users to create a new account in Fidelity for the clients they have already entered in Redtail. The integration options can be found by hovering your cursor over your Integrations Menu and then selecting the Fidelity Wealthscape Clearing option:
You'll have options to "Launch Wealthscape Clearing" or "Set Up New Account":
The "Launch Wealthscape Clearing" option is a simple SSO into Wealthscape® Clearing.
If you click the “View Alerts” option, you’ll see all of your Fidelity account-based alerts (grouped by Flagged messages, Unread messages, and Read messages). You can click any of those groupings to expand them and then click an individual alert to single sign-on to Wealthscape’s Alert Manager where you can take further action.
The "Set Up New Account" option allows you to send the following contact data to Wealthscape®:
- First, Middle and Last Name
- Tax ID
- Date of Birth
- Job Title
- Company Name - (Employer name can not exceed more than 32 characters in length or the contact will not send and you will be provided with a “Unable to process Prospect. Please try again” error.)
- Mailing Address
- Home Address
- Work Address
- Phone Numbers
- Email Addresses
- Web Address
- Driver's License info
- Marital Status - (single or married)
After clicking Set Up New Account, you'd see your integration options within Redtail expand to reflect the Account Holder's Name, Date of Birth and Relationship displayed, along with the option to add up to seven holders during this account setup:
Note: when typing in a contact name in the “add additional holder” box here, autocomplete functionality is present for contacts who are linked to the Holder via a Family or Membership relationship.
When done here, click Continue. You would then be redirected into Fidelity to continue the New Account Setup process, with pre-populated data from Redtail already in place where relevant.
Account Pre-fill includes the following Redtail fields: Salutation; First Name; Middle Name; Last Name; Suffix; Tax ID; Date of Birth; Job title; Company Name; Mailing Address; Home Address; Work Address; Phone Numbers; Email Addresses; Web Address; Driver's License Info; Marital Status
