Setting up the integration:

In order to set up the integration, you'll need to enable the Docupace integration within your database. Instructions for enabling integrations can be found here.

Then, from the Manage Integrations page where the integration was just enabled, you will need to click Settings under the Actions menu for Docupace Technologies: 

 

You'll then see the below:

Enter your Domain.  Use your Docupace URL, which you can copy/paste from your Docupace login screen. Note: Do NOT include the "ui/app" at the end of the URL string. The end of the domain should be just your site name. Then, copy the Token (you will be pasting this into Docupace) and click Save.

Log into Docupace to complete the configuration on their end, per instructions they can provide you, dependent upon the version of Docupace you use.

 

Integration functionality:

From any page in Redtail, you can access your Docupace options by selecting the Integrations button in the upper right corner:

Clicking the Docupace option from the resulting modal will present you with a Single Sign-on (SSO) option to take you to the Docupace Dashboard on a new tab in your browser:

If you are within a Contact Record in Redtail when selecting Docupace from the Integrations menu, you'll see two additional options present on the Docupace modal:

  • Send To Client Folder - When you choose this option, the client data that has been entered (for the Contact Record from which you initiated this Docupace modal) into Redtail will initially CREATE a client in Docupace. Subsequently, the Client folder, including a General Subfolder, will be accounted for in Docupace:

    Additionally, when you make any updates/changes to your Contact in Redtail, you can follow the same steps above (choose the integration button at the top of the page in Redtail) and you can send the NEW details for the client to update Docupace:

  • Send to Starting Point -If you prefer to open a new Account in Docupace, you can choose the “Send to Starting Point” option. This will launch a questionnaire that you can fill out, leading you to the right Forms for an Account Opening process. The first screen you will see is going to prompt you to choose a Rep Code for the Client you are adding. It is a requirement in Docupace to link a Rep to a Client:

    Choose the Rep that should be associated with the client you pulled over from Redtail, and you can then proceed with subsequent steps in the Docupace questionnaire:
