What is an email Alias?
An email alias is simply a forwarding email address attached to a primary email address. Email aliases are often used to create handy replacements for long or difficult-to-remember email addresses. They can also be used to create generic email addresses such as webmaster@example.com and info@example.com.
For example:
If john@domain.com wanted to receive emails sent to info@domain.com, an alias of info@ would be added john@. The result of this would be that all emails sent to info@domain.com would be delivered to john@domain.com's inbox.
