Android-based Device: Redtail-hosted Email Setup

Following is a walkthrough for setting up your Redtail-hosted email account on your Android device.

From your home screen, tap the Applications icon:

From your available apps, tap the Email icon:

Within the Email app, tap the menu option:

You'll see the below options. Tap Settings:

Tap Add account:

Tap Other Providers:

Enter your email address and click the arrow to continue:

Tap IMAP to select your account type:

Enter your Email Password and click the next arrow:

Enter your Incoming Server settings:

For Username, enter your full email address.
For Password, enter your email password.

For Server, enter imap.redtailtechnology.com.
For Port, enter 993. You'll want to select one of the SSL options for Security type.

Then, tap the right arrow. You can then enter your Outgoing server settings:

For SMTP server, enter smtp.redtailtechnology.com.
For Port, enter 465 (if you're using SSL). If not, you should use 587 as an alternate port here.
For Username, enter your full email address.
For Password, enter your email password.

Then, tap the right arrow.

Finally, look over and make any desired changes to your options for the Email account and click the right arrow:

That will complete your setup.
