Why am I receiving "we do not relay" messages when sending with Outlook?

If you encounter undeliverable messages when attempting to send via Outlook, and the undeliverable message includes something like "We do not relay" somewhere within it, there is a quick solution to resolve the issue.

Within your Outlook account, go to your File menu:


Then, select Account Settings under the Info menu:


On the resulting dialog, click on the Email address we're hosting for you to highlight it and then click the Change button.

Then, click on the More Settings button in the lower right corner of the resulting dialog.

On the Internet Email Settings dialog that then appears, go to the Outgoing Server tab.

Here, place checks next to both:

"My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication."


"Use same settings as my incoming mail server."

Then, click OK.

Then, click Next followed by Finish on the previous dialog.

You can then close down Outlook and reopen. The issue should be resolved at that point but, if you continue to experience those types of issues, please contact our email support team at 800-206-5030 opt. 3 then opt. 3.
