  • Added permission filtering to the Recently Viewed menu — Permissioned contacts will not show up in the Recently Viewed menu for those who do not have permissioning rights for that contact.
  • Added permission filtering to the Calendar — Permissioned contacts' activities will show up on the Calendar for those who do not have permissioning rights for that contact as "PRIVATE" items; neither the contact's name nor the activity itself will be accessible.
  • Added permission filtering to the Dashboard Calendar — Permissioned contacts' activities will show up on the Dashboard Calendar for those who do not have permissioning rights for that contact as "PRIVATE" items; neither the contact's name nor the activity itself will be accessible.

  • Added permission filtering to the Contact autocomplete lookups — Permissioned contacts will not show up as options in autocomplete lookups for those who do not have permissiong rights for that contact.

  • Added permission filtering to the Tag Groups page — if a Tag Group contains permissioned contacts, those database users who do not have permission rights will only see members of the Tag Group for whom they have rights.  If they elect to send a Tag Group to Search, it will only send those contacts for whom they have permissioning rights.

  • Added requirement that databases must be only using Redtail CRM version and not Redtail Classic in order to use the Permissions feature — if your database owner still allows your database users access to Redtail Classic, permissioning changes cannot be applied.

  • Only Database Administrators can use the Permissions feature — Permissioning rights can only be set by the database owner and admin users of the database.

  • Changed reminder report for account riders and account renewals to add a hyperlink to the account number that will open the specific account details page — this resolved a usability issue.

  • Updated NetDocuments integration with Workspace searching (for when linking to a Contact) — this tightened up the NetDocuments integration, making Workspace linking an easier and quicker process.

  • Added additional fields to Custom Exports including Spouse Information, Professional Contacts and Departments.

  • Added option to view and restore disabled Users — these options are available on the Manage Your Account —> Manage Database Users & Teams page.

  • Added option to unlock Users — previously, one would have to wait 15 minutes for their username to unlock or contact Redtail Support to unlock their username.  Now, another user of your database can unlock your username by going to Manage Your Account —> Manage Database Users & Teams, right-clicking your name and selecting Unlock User.
