Contact Overview Menu: Know Your Client

The Know Your Client section of a Contact Record provides you with an area where you can track a lot of information about your contacts in addition to the information you track on their Overview. Know Your Client is accessible under Contact Overview:

Sections of "Know Your Client"

o Client Review
• In this section, you can indicate your client’s review date and the frequency of reviews for the client. Their Next Review Date will automatically populate, dependent upon what you enter into the other two fields.
NOTE: Client Review Reminders appear on your Today’s Overview page in the Reminders section.

o Strategic Allocation Model
• In this section, you can keep track of your client’s general investment strategy.

o Written Agreements Review
• In this section, you can keep track of written agreements with your client.

o Employment Information
• In this section, you can keep track of your client’s employment information.
Additional info available here. 

o Bank Information
• In this section, you can keep track of your client’s banking information.
Additional info available here. 

o Estimated Net Worth
• In this section, you can keep track of your Contact’s estimated net worth.
Additional info available here. 

o Estimated Tax Information
• In this section, you can keep track of your client’s estimated tax information.

o Professional Contacts
• In this section, you can keep track of your client’s professional contacts or click on those Professional Contacts’ names to directly access their records.

o Personal Interests
• In this section, you can keep track of your client’s personal interests. These can prove very useful when running Advanced Searches.
• Note that you can delete any previously assigned personal interests easily from this screen. If the new personal interest is not one you’ve added to the dropdown box available when you click on “Edit,” you’ll need to make the personal interest available by going to Manage Your Account --> Manage Database Lists and adding it.

o Keywords
• In this section, you can keep track of keywords you’d like to associate with your Client. These can prove very useful when running Advanced Searches.
• Note that you can delete any previously assigned keywords. If the new Keyword is not one you’ve added to the dropdown box available when you click on “Edit,” you’ll need to make the Keyword available by going to Manage Your Account --> Manage Database Lists and adding it.

o Important Information
• In this section, you can keep track of important information you’d like to associate with your Client. This information shows up in its own section on the Contact’s Overview so that you can see it at a glance when entering their record.
• Note that you can add and organize your information how you would like here. We recommend using the section for information that you want to make sure you remember each and every time you interact with the Contact.

o Misc. Personal Information
• In this section, you can keep track of additional personal information you’d like to maintain on your Contact, such as Driver’s License info and Maiden Name.

o Health Information
• In this section, you can keep track of health information you’d like to maintain on your Contact.
