Setting up the integration:
Instructions for enabling integrations within Redtail can be found here. After enabling Max for Advisors in that manner, from the Manage Integrations page in Redtail, click Settings from Max for Advisor's Actions menu:
You'll then see the below:
Click "Authorize Access to Max For Advisors" and you'll see the below:
Enter your Max Advisor Dashboard credentials once to create this secure connection and enable the integration. Don’t have a Max Advisor Dashboard account? You can register for free in a minute or two at MaxForAdvisors.com.
After setting up the integration, when within a contact record in Redtail you can select Max for Advisors from your Redtail integrations menu. You'll then see the option to "Send Invitation":
Choosing that option will allow you to initiate the account opening process for that client within Max for Advisors. First name, last name, and email address are required in order to send an invitation, but Max for Advisors will try to pull as much as they can from the record. Other fields that they try to pull include:
- middle name
- phone number (they look for the mobile phone number)
- job title
- date of birth
- home address
- mailing address:
Note: individual or joint accounts are supported, but trust accounts cannot be set up through this integration at this time.
Clients will instantly receive an email invitation. From there, the client will proceed with setting up their Max account. Advisors and client service teams can monitor the client’s progress and account balances from the Max Advisor Dashboard or other data reporting integrations.
